The
CyberSync Radio Remote Control System allows you to wirelessly fire all of the flash units in your setup from your camera location.
With this transmitter-and-receiver system, you can either use
one transmitter at your camera and one receiver for each flash unit in your setup or use
one transmitter at your camera and just one receiver on one flash unit.
Option 1:
- One CST CyberSync Transmitter
- One CSR CyberSync Receiver
for each flash unit in the setup
With this option, you'll slide the transmitter on your camera's hot shoe (or use the provided PC synd cord). You will attach one receiver to each flash unit in the setup, using the receiver's attached sync cord and pass-through-power cord. When you press your camera shutter, the transmitter will send the cue to each receiver in your setup to fire all of the lights simultaneously. With a receiver connected to each unit in your setup, the cue to fire will only come from you, preventing other photographers in the area from tripping your system.
Option 2:
- One CST CyberSync Transmitter
- One CSR CyberSync Receiver
If you are working in your own studio or working in an evironment where other photographers (and their flashes) are not a concern, you can simply connect one receiver to one of your flash units.
With this option, you'll slide the transmitter on your camera's hot shoe (or use the provided PC synd cord). You will attach one receiver to one flash unit in the setup, using the receiver's attached sync cord and pass-through-power cord. When you press your camera shutter, the transmitter will send the cue to the one receiver, causing the flash unit to fire. When that flash unit fires, the remaining units in the setup wil fire simultaneusly via their light-sensitive slave eyes.
