Using the LSCA25MM Caster Set

on your LS3050 10-foot Light Stand

1. Unscrew the Primary Adjustment Knob by twisting it counter-clockwise until it can be removed completely from the Light Stand adaptor.

2. Unscrew the Secondary Adjustment Knob by twisting it counter-clockwise as well. It is not necessary to unscrew this knob completely; you will simply need to twist the knob until its grip on the Light Stand adaptor is released.

3. Remove the Light Stand Adaptor by sliding it out of the caster base. You will notice that the narrow bottom of the adaptor is surrounded on each side by the Adaptor Shim and the Curved Wedge. Once the Secondary Adjustment Knob is loosened, the Light Stand adaptor easily slides out. Slide the Curved Wedge and the Adaptor Shim out with it.

4. The caster base is now ready to fit your LS3050 10-foot light stand. Take the Curved Wedge that you just removed and hold it flush against the bottom of the light stand leg. The curve of the wedge matches the curve of the light stand and should fit snugly around it. This wedge allows the light stand leg to fit tightly inside of the base.

5. Holding the Curved Wedge in place against the leg, slide the leg of your light stand into the caster base.

Inside of the caster base, the leg of your 10-foot light stand will fit between the Curved Wedge and the Adaptor Shim. The leg of the light stand will be fitted into the same position that the Light Stand Adaptor was in previously.

The adaptor shim fits inside the base in the groove closest to the adjustment knob. The curved wedge fits into the rounded groove on the opposite side.

Note: These pieces are small and can be easily lost or misplaced. Be careful when removing them as you will need them for fitting your 10-foot light stand and for refitting the light stand adaptor to use the caster with your 13-foot light stand.

6. Slide the Adaptor Shim into the caster base, flush against the leg of the stand.

7. Twist the Secondary Adjustment Knob clockwise to tighten the screw and secure the leg of your light stand.
