LINK Flash Unit
The Paul C. Buff LINK 800WS Flash Unit is built for photographers who want power, speed, and creative flexibility in one versatile package. With 800WS of power and a bright LED modeling lamp that doubles as a video light, LINK is ready for everything from studio portraits to hybrid photo/video production. Action Mode delivers short flash durations for freezing fast-moving subjects, while an exceptional color accuracy of +/- 50K across its entire power range keeps your images looking true to life. TTL and HSS up to 1/8000 second give you fast, intuitive control in changing conditions, and magnetic gel domes make it easy to add creative color or effects. Add the optional battery and LINK becomes a powerful, go-anywhere lighting solution—equally at home in the studio or on location.
The Paul C. Buff LINK is an 800Ws monolight offering nine stops of power adjustment from full power to 1/256, with Action and Color flash modes, TTL, and HSS up to 1/8,000 second. Action Mode provides flash durations as short as 1/17,300 second (t.1) for motion-freezing performance, while Color Mode maintains color consistency within ±50K across the power range. The unit features a bright daylight-balanced LED modeling lamp, a built-in CyberSync transceiver, a 3.5-inch LCD display, and compatibility with magnetic gel domes for creative color control. It operates on 95–265 VAC and can be paired with an optional battery for portable operation and outdoor shooting, with approximately 200 full-power flashes per charge. The LINK weighs 7 lb. 8 oz. without the battery and measures 6.5 × 4.875 × 12.625 inches.
Each Paul C. Buff LINK Flash Unit arrives ready for studio use with a Magnetic Rubber Diffusion Dome, LINK Shipping Cover, LINK Flashtube, and 15' LINK Power Cord, along with a 30-Day Absolute Satisfaction Guarantee and 2-Year Factory Warranty. The LINK Battery and LINK Battery Charger are optional accessories sold separately, allowing you to add portable, battery-powered operation when your shooting needs take you beyond the studio.

Quick FAQ
Here are some answers to commonly asked questions:
No. The LINK includes an a/c power cord only. Batteries are sold separately.
TTL is like "auto" for your flash. It communicates with your camera to create accurate exposures without the extra work. Great for events and weddings!
High speed sync allows you to exceed your cameras native sync speed. You sacrifice some light output, but in turn can raise your shutter speed to assist in certain motion stopping scenarios or more commonly to open your aperture all the way to use you flash with a shallow depth of field.
